Hello out there, been a long while since our last post.
The biggest, and most delayed, release is out and ready for people to play!
Go check out our release patch for Appareden: The Sacrosanct Dragon and let us know what you think about the game.

*We have not yet managed the manual translations, and we also don’t have a trailer just yet. Not totally needed, we know, but we do like to do them. We’ll let you know when those are out there. The actual game part is definitely done though!
Congratulations on the release! I got the patch working and the game is running on Neko Project II, however I can’t seem to get the CD music to play. The Disk Image has been in IDE #2, but still no music plays, is this something the emulator can’t do yet?
We’ve been noticing people have been having this issue and we aren’t seeing it on our side yet. Do you know if you have a full BIOS set in your NP21/W? This would generally have a bios.rom, itf.rom, and sound.rom as well. We’ll keep trying to figure this out!
After defeating the dragon on Rokkou mountain, the game asks to put disk A in and click the mouse. Thing is, I’m using the (patched) disc version from Neo Kobe.
This is the first time we’ve seen this issue. Do you have a save that can help us to check this out? Please extract a “APPARE01.SAV” from your patched disk image and save it somewhere so that we can see if we can reproduce this and figure it out to fix.
I am having the same issue as Rubber Ducky above. The issue occurs during the post-battle dialogue between the dragon and the party. During the dialogue, the screen begins to flicker between the dialogue and a screen with untranslated japanese text in a glitchy fashion. I cannot figure out how to progress.
Searching through the files on Neko Project, I don’t see any files with a .sav extension. How do you extract a .sav file? I’m using a patched .hdi of the cd version. I could record a twitch video of the glitch tomorrow if that would be useful to you.
https://imgur.com/a/aECzrny (this screen freeze doesn’t represent the glitchy flickering between the dialogue and this screen)
I am having the same issue as Rubber Ducky above. I’m using the patched CD version HDI file. Glitchy, flickering japanese text appears directing me to “insert disk A and click the mouse” or something approximating that during the dialogue immediately after defeating the dragon. I do not see a dot sav file extension in the Neko Project folder. I have recorded a video on twitch of the bug if you would like a link to see it. It’s a little brutal having to redo the minigame and two bosses every time, but at least I learned what Zen Blast does!
I also cannot progress past the dragon. The text for switching discs is very flickery and glitchy.
Hello, thank you for this great translation. Unfortunately, I have a bug on the first Dragon, after defeating it in the dialogue. I’m playing on Neko Project II emulator. The crash video https://studio.youtube.com/video/0AKXdLT5RtI/edit

Hello, there is no possibility to report bugs for Apparenden on the page dedicated to bug reporting.
Sorry for the time it took us to fix the Thunder Dragon crash, but it’s fixed in v0.9.9.2!
